Lally Segard : ウィキペディア英語版 | Lally Segard Lally Segard (born 1921, née Vagliano), also known as Vicomtesse de Saint Sauveur, is a French amateur golfer. She won 14 titles, including the British Ladies Amateur in 1950, and later became president of the World Amateur Golf Council, which is now known as the International Golf Federation.〔 Along with Mrs. Henri Prunaret from America, Segard planned the first Women’s World Amateur Team Championship, held in 1964.〔 She also asked her friends Ricardo and Silvia Espirito Santo to donate a trophy for the event, which they did.〔 She was the French captain (though she did not play) in the Women’s World Amateur Team Championship from 1964 until 1972.
